Guides / Review & improve

Make your review useful

Turn trade history into a repeatable review, with context you can return to later.

Start with the right account and day

Open Accounts and select the practice account you want to review. Use the daily results calendar to find a session, then inspect the completed trades for that day. The interface labels its time basis; take this into account when comparing with notes written in your local time.

Write the reason, not just the result

Use trade notes to record what you intended and what you observed. Keep the note specific enough to be useful after the chart has changed.

  • Context: what were you testing?
  • Intent: what was the entry, exit or invalidation condition?
  • Execution: did the submitted order match that intention?
  • Review: what would you repeat or change in the next practice session?

Check that the note is saved

Save the note and wait for the interface confirmation. If the session has expired or the request fails, keep a copy of your writing before refreshing. A note still visible in a field is not proof it has been saved.

Do not put passwords, recovery codes, payment details or other sensitive information in trade notes.

Keep the context with your export

Use the CSV export in Accounts when you need to review the available trade history elsewhere. Check which account and date range you selected and compare the exported rows with the on-screen history.

Label exported results as practice data. Generated fills and simulated performance do not establish what a live account would have achieved.
